Score 88/100 · Drink 2021-2025, Rebecca Gibb MW, Vinous, Oct 2021

Hailing from a sandy/gravelly parcel between the village of Saint-Nicolas de Bourgueil and the Loire River, the 2019 Saint-Nicolas de Bourgueil Les Rouillères is a ripe, sweetly fruited yet aromatic and herby style with a ripe, savory slightly wild note, Earl Grey tea and garrigue -type herbs. There's a silken texture and fine sandy tannins on the finish.
