One parcel is 35 years old and the other 60 years old. In a village close to Rully. 60% aged in concrete and 40% in old oak. Masses of fruit and really hugely winning. Broad with honeysuckle notes and fabulous intensity of both fruit and structure. Who needs Chardonnay?! I didn’t manage to spit this out. (JR)

The 2020 Bourgogne Aligoté En Gerlieus is an older vine cuvée, deriving from a parcel of vines aged between 40 and 100 years old and surrounded by woodland. Offering up aromas of mandarin, peach, white flowers and almonds, it's medium to full-bodied, its deep core of fruit framed by chalky structuring extract and lively acids.
