From four lieux-dits in the south of the appellation comes the 2018 Nuits-Saint-Georges Village, a pretty wine offering up scents of cherries, cassis and strawberries mingled with loamy soil and toasty new oak. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, fleshy and charming, with polished tannins and a gently oak-inflected finish.

Mid cherry red. Ripe and open with red and black fruits. Firm, dry and pretty tannic without quite enough flesh in the middle so it is a bit hard on the finish. (JH)
