Lightish cherry red. Pretty, delicate red fruits. Wholesome and lightly spiced fruit. A little dry on the finish but would be OK with food. (JH)

The 2017 Bourgogne Rouge has a lovely brambly red berry bouquet - simple but effective and with plenty of fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with soft tannin, light and breezy with just a little attenuation towards the finish. Fine.
