Enjoyable darker berry fruits, peppery herbs, and cedary spice notes all emerge from the 2009 Bad Boy. It's a charming, nicely balanced, fully mature 2009 that sill offers pleasure.

The best wine under this moniker that Jean-Luc Thunevin has yet produced, his homage to himself (or is it me?) is a delicious, fruit-forward sleeper of the vintage. Oodles of black currants, kirsch, licorice and spice jump from the glass of this medium-bodied, surprisingly concentrated wine that leaves a substantial tactile impression on the palate. Drink it over the next several years. Bravo!
