Tasting notes
100% Syrah, 18 months in oak (30% new). Bright crimson. Salty and polished and very north-Rhône Syrah! Really very smooth and satisfying. Sweet start but appetising savoury finish. (JR)

I loved the 2020 Saint Joseph Clos De Cuminaille from this estate, which has a smoky, granite-like character in its red and black fruits as well as notes of leather, spicy wood, and peppery herbs. Rich, medium to full-bodied, sweetly fruited, and textured, it should benefit from a few years in the cellar and keep for a solid decade.
100% Syrah. Cask sample. Bright and fresh with lots of pepper and spice. Already open and expressive, the palate lively and aromatic as well. Very fine tannins which fold into the fruit. Bit of grip on the finish but plenty of early-drinking pleasure. (JL)
