Score 91/100 · Drink 2023-2039, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Sep 2021
The 2019 Gevrey-Chambertin Clos Prieur opens in the glass with notes of cherries, smoky berries, cassis and spices, framed by a deft touch of oak. Medium to full-bodied, layered and charming, with lively acids and more tannic structure than its counterpart Vieilles Vignes and La Justice bottlings, it will reward a bit of bottle age.
