The 2017 Montélie Les Champs Fulliot 1er Cru has a generous bouquet with upfront red cherry and raspberry fruit and a touch of vanilla pod and blueberry. The palate is medium-bodied with a slightly sappy entry. The acidity is well judged and there is good density here. Quite bold and assertive toward the finish, yet not overbearing. Recommended.
