The 2005 Nahe Riesling Bockenauer Felseneck "GG" is intense on the nose, indicating very ripe fruit aromas along with herbal and floral slatey notes. Rich, intense and juicy on the palate, this is a big, opulent and quite powerful Felseneck with a good structure but a slightly bitter finish. (From my rediscovered archive; tasted in February 2015.)

Something rather raw about the nose here. Smoky fruit – quite a complete wine with nice balance. Ready relatively early. Very neat. Good length. (JR)
