Tasting notes
Pale lemon. Creamy, mealy pear fruit. While some pineapple emerges, this is really quite restrained for Napa. Bright acidity and freshness of pear fruit carry though nicely to the cinnamon-spiced finish. Appealing, if not the most profound. (TJ)

Brought up 25% new barrels, the 2015 Chardonnay is outstanding and has classic notes of apple/orchard fruits, hints of citrus and white flowers, medium-bodied richness, excellent purity and a clean finish. It should keep for 4-6 years, probably longer. It’s a good value.
This is an acidic, tart style of Chardonnay without much depth, oak or flavor. I really don’t see the point of turning out an innocuous wine such as this, but I suppose there are buyers for it. Drink it over the next 2-3 years.
