Fined, tank sample. Broad and floral on the nose. Just a bit sweeter than ideal or truly refreshing. Drying, sudden finish. (JR)

The 2020 Savigny-lès-Beaune Vergelesses Blanc 1er Cru has a light leesy bouquet with touches of orchard fruit and dried pineapple. The palate is well balanced with fine acidity, taut and fresh with a sapid if slightly short finish.
