Tasting notes
Tasted blind. Unctuous pear-juice nose. Rich and glamorous with some dried curry spices. Not that sweet but intriguing! Tightly focused. (JR)

The 2021 Sigalas Rabaud has a delightful bouquet with beeswax, dried honey and white flowers scents. It just needs a little more vigor. The palate is well-balanced with a viscous entry and a fine bead of acidity, though it comes across a little strait-laced and conservative on the finish. Fine.
The 2021 Sigalas Rabaud has turned out nicely despite a shy, closed bouquet, evoking aromas of pineapple, spices and ripe orchard fruits. Medium to full-bodied, lively and energetic with a fleshy core of fruit, it concludes with a long, penetrating, ethereal finish. This is a blend of 85% Sémillon and 15% Sauvignon Blanc.
One of my standouts En Primeur and totally delivering in bottle, the mint leaf aspect is even more clear at this point, as is the contrast between cooling fresh acidtiies and luscious ripe texture. Good. Apricot, citrus, peach, trufles, pink grapefruit, slate.
