From vines on the slopes leading into the hills from Nantoux, at 377 m elevation. The fermentation included 10% whole clusters. Aged for 12 months in 30% new oak. Certified organic. Subtle, fresh and classic without being at all fusty. Great stuff! (JR)

Shaded ruby. Pure, sweet and fruity. This tastes like a (successful) minimal-intervention wine. Lots of character. Edgy and precise. (JR)

The 2019 Hautes-Côtes de Beaune Altitude 377 is the most serious of these three cuvées, mingling aromas of plums and orange rind with hints of raw cocoa, violets and spices. Medium to full-bodied, velvety and enveloping, with fine depth at the core and a seamless profile, it derives from climat Le Clou in Nantoux.
