Tasting notes
Black fruits, olive tapenade, tobacco, salted meat, and mulled chocolate notes all emerge from the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Sage Ridge Vineyard. It's a rich, hugely sexy, pedal-to-the-metal effort that has boatloads of sweet tannins, no hard edges, and a great, great finish. It's one of the sexiest, most plush and opulent wines in the vintage.

The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Sage Ridge is another distinctive and vivid wine in this range. Sweet floral notes add lift to the ripe red cherry, mocha, spice, new leather and licorice flavors. Soft, supple and engaging, the 2017 has so much to offer, even in the early going.
A barrel sample to be bottled in January 2019, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Sage Ridge Vineyard is a new wine for Bevan. Very deep purple-black in color, it's scented of cassis, earth, dried herbs, redcurrants and Marmite toast with a waft of truffles. The medium-bodied palate is firm and chewy with an earthy finish.
