Attractive mid primrose. The fruit is weightier and with a little more personality than Longeroies. Some baked apples without suggesting oxidation. A touch of crème fraiche to accompany them. Clean white fruit behind, a leaner structure thanks to the backbone. Still the baked apples on show. More persistence, a characterful white Marsannay.

Domaine René Bouvier is a truly exciting estate in Marsannay – and one of a handful of properties bringing greater attention to a village once best known for its rosé.
