Tasting notes
The 2019 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Les Frionnes is strikingly good. Mingling aromas of pear, lemon oil, white flowers, citrus zest and freshly baked bread in an inviting mélange, it's medium to full-bodied, deep and layered, with an impressive mid-palate plenitude, racy acids and a long, chalky finish. It's the best Frionnes I've ever tasted from Lamy.

The 2019 Saint Aubin Les Frionnes ler Cru embraces subtle tropical notes on the nose, where hints of nectarine and apricot intertwine with fine mineralité. The palate is well balanced with sour lemon and lime on the entry, spicy and quite persistent, and very harmonious on the finish. There is a lot going on here, and it is perhaps Lamy's wine that will have the widest appeal. Closure: Diam
A little more colour here, pale yellow with a cool chiselled white fruit note. I like the way this fills the mouth with a fruit, which is just at optimum ripeness, which means it has developed a perfume of roses and peach blossom, but the core of the fruit remains white, with excellent texture and no excess heat.
