Tasting notes
Mid ruby with orange tinges. A little stalky and leathery but not without appeal. Supple, rich and ripe on the palate. It is balanced but the fruit seems really ripe and could be a little fresher. Ends quite sweet and dense. Drink now. (WS)

Mid garnet. Some oak on the nose. Fairly sweet and thick. Not quite enough lift for me, though it’s certainly solid. Quite aggressive alcohol and acidity on the end. (JR)
Cherries and berries with some walnuts and fresh flowers. Some earth and meat, too. Full-bodied with chewy, polished tannins and a flavorful finish. Really rich and intense. Lots going on here. A beauty. Drinkable now, but better in 2023.
Youthful mid ruby. At first slightly sharp and sour on the nose with hints of bell pepper, followed by hints of fruit cake. Embryonic sweet cherry fruit with firm but finely woven tannins. No huge complexity (yet). Ends tangy and a little sweet at the same time. (WS)
