Score 88-90/100 · Drink 2020-2030, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Dec 2017

The 2016 Gevrey-Chambertin Clos des Meixville has a tightly wound bouquet with Morello cherry, crushed strawberry and a light vanilla pod scent. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, well-judged acidity, not a complex Gevrey, but I admire the concentration here and the precision that is maintained on the finish. Drink over the next 6 to 8 years.
