Tasting notes
Aromas of citrus zest, pear, white flowers, fresh bread and almond paste introduce the 2020 Meursault Village, a medium to full-bodied, ample and layered wine that's rich but chalky, concluding with a nicely defined finish.

From two parcels below and parallel to the Santenots vineyard. Racked in August and in tank; will be bottled in March. Tank sample. Mid lemon; ripe apple and moderate spice; pocket-sized fruit and estimable lightness although texturally rich. (MH)
The 2020 Meursault Village comes from three parcels in the appellation. It has a lovely nose, well defined with touches of orange pith, citrus fruit and a touch of white flowers. The palate is lively on the entry, spicier than I was expecting with touches of ginger and lemongrass. Vibrant on the finish with a saline aftertaste. Delicious.
