Tasting notes
This is a stunning wine in 2021. Creamy and full, there’s incredible power and depth to this wine, with its broad, mineral framework. There’s a core of intense white peach and citrus zest at its heart, however, building to a long, intense and pithy finish. It perfectly captures the style of the best 2020 white Burgundy. Brilliant.

Cask sample. Light nose and medium-rich palate but without that much real conviction or distinction. Still quite chewy so wait awhile. Sweetness on the end. (JR)
About the producer

Nicolas Potel is one of Burgundy’s most talented and connected winemakers. He created Maison Roche de Bellene, the négoce arm of Domaine de Bellene, in 2008, using his extensive network in the region to source top-quality fruit for an "haute couture" négociant operation.
