Score 90-92/100 · Drink 2024-2038, Neal Martin, Dec 2021

The 2020 Echézeaux Grand Cru comes from the lieu-dit "Les Champs Traversant" and is completely de-stemmed. I felt that this cuvée did have a tincture of over-ripeness on the nose, touches of tinned prune infusing the precocious red fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with a succulent ripe entry, modest grip, maybe just missing a little acidity and edginess towards the finish.
