The 2020 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru, which as usual was bottled just before the following harvest, has an effervescent bouquet with lemon sherbet, white flowers, linden, orange zest and hints of passion fruit. The palate is very well balanced with a waxy texture, touches of lemon curd, citrus peel, stem ginger and a touch of white chocolate. Fine length. Quite delicious - you could drink this now - why not?
