Score 89-91/100 · Drink 2045, Neal Martin, Dec 2021
The 2020 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru, from the vines under 25-years old, though 75% of those planted in 1996 will be promoted into the Musigny. This will obviously change both cuvées. It has a very pure bouquet with black cherries, boysenberry and peony. Quite citric on the entry, this feel quite granular in texture with a structured finish that just needs a little more persistence.
