The 2020 Meursault Les Vireuils has quite a complex, minerally bouquet with a very discrete reduction. The palate is well balanced with crisp yellow fruit tinged with flint, a touch of peach and hazelnut on the finish. This should age well in bottle. Closure: Diam

Upper part. Pale in colour with a light lime tint, racy fresh hillside nose. Lime notes infuse the white fruit at the finish, and then just enough flesh when you think this is maybe going to be too strict. Fineboned and racy. 13.2% alcohol with a pH of 3.12.

Cask (foudre) sample. Mid lemon; fresh and zippy with mineral freshness and just a swipe of freshly sliced ginger root.
