Tasting notes
A fine clean mid purple with a racing energetic fruit to follow. This is all in a very fresh red fruit style, cherries and strawberries, overtly engaging yet not just a pretty face. The structure is based on acidity rather than tannins, and the whole carries through very well to a long finish. 30% whole bunch.

The 2020 Chambolle-Musigny Les Amoureuses 1er Cru contains 30% whole bunch, although it is difficult to tell. It has a beautiful bouquet with plush black cherry and blueberry fruit, crushed violets and incense blossoming with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins. There is a fine bead of acidity here, fresh and harmonious, slightly creamy in texture towards the finish and endowed with very long length. Ravishing!
About the producer

Louis Jadot is arguably the most consistent négociant house in Burgundy. It has managed to straddle both the entry-level and fine wine market, while retaining respect in both.
