Tasting Notes
Chablis’s most famous Grand Cru, Les Clos, is typically rich and powerful, yet the 2020 is also extremely elegant. Aromatic notes of dried spices, toasted brioche and green apple are matched by an intensely floral nose. The palate is gourmand, well exposed by a refined minerality and freshness, the acidity threading it all together with a succulent mouth-watering mid-palate. The finish is very long and complex, offering more minerality and wonderful fruit clarity. This is another star of the line-up at Domaine Long-Depaquit.

The 2020 Chablis Les Clos Grand Cru has a light, stony bouquet that does not really translate the power this vineyard can give its wines. The palate is better, with a citric entry and good acidity, and though it finishes a little short, this should fill out with time.
