Tasting notes
Here the ripe and fresh nose derives more from the darker side of the fruit spectrum while adding nuances of cherry liqueur, warm earth and underbrush. There is very good detail and subtle minerality to the acceptably dense and relatively muscular flavors that deliver fine length on the mildly tangy finale. Very good if not truly distinguished.

One supply from Charmes and one from Mazoyères. Glowing crimson purple, enthusiastic sweet cherry notes but good acidity behind. A little orange blossom in with the red fruit. There is plenty of exuberance here but the wine remains fresh. Tasted Nov 2020.
