The 2019 Pinot Noir (Santa Barbara County) is absolutely gorgeous. Rich and ample in the glass, the 2019 is packed with red/purplish berry fruit, spice, blood orange and a good deal of whole cluster savoriness. I would give the 2019 at least a year or two in bottle, as it is still recovering from bottling. Even today, though, the 2019 is positively dazzling.

Mid cherry red. Sweet cherry fruit on the nose and a bit of oak sweetness. Rather sweet-sour on the palate and those two sides not fully meshed. A slight stemmy note. Rounded tannins but slightly hard on the finish. (JH)
