The 2019 Chassagne-Montrachet Le Concis du Champs is satiny and enveloping, wafting from the glass with aromas of crisp green orchard fruit, white peach, freshly baked bread and iodine. Medium to full-bodied, bright and textural, with racy acids and a long, saline finish, it's quite open out of the gates.

More clay in the soil, the first to be picked. This has fallen clear to a pale lemon and lime colour, with some grapefruit bitterness here to balance a pleasing amount of flesh.
