2017 Chablis Blanchots

Tasting notes
Here too the wood treatment is well short of invisible though once again it does not overshadow the intensely floral aromas of mostly white-fleshed fruit and oyster shell. There is both good volume and concentration to the punchy mineral-driven medium weight flavors that deliver excellent length on the overtly saline, bone dry and mildly austere finish. Patience recommended. 2027+

The 2017 Chablis Les Blanchots Grand Cru is soft, precise and understated. White orchard fruit, lemon peel, crushed flowers, mint give this delicate, inviting Chablis its classy personality. Overall the 2017 is very pretty and quite supple. It will drink well with minimal cellaring.
