The 2018 Vougeot 1er Cru Les Petits Vougeot opens in the glass with aromas of cherries, raspberries and orange rind, framed by a deft touch of creamy new oak. Medium to full-bodied, it's fine-boned, finishing with chalky grip, though it was a little introverted on the palate when I tasted it.
