Tasting notes
Aromas of peonies, orange rind, wild berries and sweet soil tones introduce the 2018 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Aux Thorey, a medium to full-bodied, fine-boned and elegant wine that's beautifully balanced and structurally refined. This is very promising.

The 2018 Nuits Saint-Georges Aux Thorey 1er Cru feels a little disjointed at the moment but it will cohere with time. The palate is medium-bodied with finely tuned wild strawberry and red cherry notes, very pure and harmonious, and a silky-smooth finish. It might require a little more structure, but there is satisfying finesse here.
