Score 89-91/100 · William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Jan 2021
The 2019 Chambolle-Musigny Vieilles Vignes is showing nicely, mingling aromas of cherries, raspberries and plums with hints of loamy soil, rose petals and spices. Medium to full-bodied, layered and elegantly fleshy, it's a touch finer-boned and more ethereal than its Morey-Saint-Denis counterpart.

About the producer

Philippe Jouan
The wines of Henri & Philippe Jouan fly under the radar – and, with the current quantities produced (from just three hectares of vines), this is unlikely to change any time soon.
