2016 La Bota de Manzanilla 101 Florpower MMXVI

The 2016 La Bota de Manzanilla 101 Florpower MMXVI is the same wine as the 2016 Florpower 84 that was fortified and left to grow flor in bota, making it a Manzanilla; so, it's a single-vintage Manzanilla, a rarity fermented in 600-liter sherry butts, where it matured until its bottling in 2021. It comes from the old vines in Miraflores La Baja (where all the wines that carry the Florpower name are born), a vineyard that provides great elegance. This has a freaky twist that makes it distinct from the regular Manzanilla; it's young but full of character. 2,500 bottles were filled in October 2020.
