2018 Meursault Chevalieres

The first bottle of Germain's 2018 Meursault Les Chevalières from my cellar was showing well, exhibiting the amplitude and generosity of the vintage without its signature defects of flabbiness and dilution. Offering up attractive aromas of vine blossom, sweet orchard fruit, hazelnuts and beeswax, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and enveloping, with a succulent core of fruit, ripe acids and a bright, nicely defined finish.
