Whiffs of exotic tea and an interesting hint of mint can be found on the aromas of mostly green apple and lemon-lime. There is better volume to the focused, intense and beautifully detailed medium weight flavors that exhibit impressive power and persistence. This is a relatively robust example of the vineyard that avoids rusticity and offers much better depth. (Heart - Outstanding)

One of the richer, more gourmand wines in the range is once again the 2019 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Chalumeaux, a medium to full-bodied, layered and textural bottling with an enveloping core of ripe fruit, evocative of peaches, pastry cream and citrus oil.
