An extraordinary wine, the 2007 Puligny-Montrachet En La Richarde blossoms in the decanter to reveal aromas of crisp orchard fruit, citrus oil, fresh hazelnuts, blanched almonds, iodine and fresh bread. Full-bodied, layered and incisive, it's chiseled and tightly wound, with immense concentration and depth. As it unwinds over the course of several hours, its true plenitude and indeed profundity becomes apparent.
