Tasting notes
So much spice, also a touch of sandalwood, but also a lot of fresh pineapple. This is powerful and highly structured, but also quite firm and crisp. So much mineral depth at the very long, focused finish. From biodynamically grown grapes with Biodyvin certification. Better from 2021.

The 2019 Hohenmorgen Riesling G.C. is opens with a pure, fresh and flinty yet concentrated nose of lime and lemon fruit along with notes of crushed stones. Round and intense on the palate, this is a full-bodied, juicy and quite powerful but refreshing and lemon-scented Deidesheimer Riesling grand cru with fine but firm and still seriously gripping tannins and a long, pure, racy, lemon-flavored finish. Promising. Tasted as a sample in April 2020.
