Marjoram, mint and oregano on the nose recombine for smoky, cooling and pungent impressions on the full, polished palate, while an enticing hint of sea breeze wafts throughout. Pit-inflected white peach emerges as the dominant fruit element. Mouthwateringly saline as well as intriguingly stony and smoky elements inform an impressively persistent finish.

The fragrant flattery of orchard fruit and spice is followed by a pleasant taste of sweet fruit on the palate, before acidity manages to add a bit of structure. Quite forward, very enjoyable already, a Grosses Gewächs made for drinking rather than thinking (about). (MS)
