FINE+RARE
This 40-year-old single malt is one of the oldest known bottlings from the once-lost Islay distillery. Distilled four years before Port Ellen was mothballed in 1983, this whisky formed part of Diageo’s highly sought-after Casks of Distinction series. Port Ellen 40 Year Old will only increase in collectability as the distillery reawakens in 2023.
About the producer

Port Ellen
The Port Ellen distillery on the south coast of the Hebridean island of Islay is responsible for some of the rarest peated single malts on the market. After almost 40 years as a lost distillery, Port Ellen has been resurrected by Diageo.
