60-year-old vines. RS 20 g/l. Ripe fruited with some botrytis influence (notes of orange and apricot). A lovely combination of stony minerality and seductive richness of citrus, orange. Creamy texture. Tastes off-dry. Long, spicy finish. Rich and still very fresh. (JH)

Picked with 15% potential alcohol and with a bit of botrytis, the 2017 Alsace Grand Cru Schlossberg Riesling L'Inédit is very pure and fresh on the palate, with notes of tropical (pineapple) and potted ginger. The palate is lush, round, very dense, intense and structured and is provided with an exceptionally long, tensioned, lovely and piquant finish. Tasted October 2018.
