Tasting notes
The 2012 Pinot Noir is a solid, mature effort from a cool vintage. It's medium-bodied, with leather and mocha accents to the cranberry and cherry fruit. It's smooth and streamlined and should continue to drink well for another 4-5 years.

Full medium red. Stunningly complex aromas of dark raspberry, flinty minerality and game. Wonderfully lush wine with an utterly silky, seamless texture and terrific pungent inner-mouth calcaire energy framing its raspberry and strawberry fruit flavors. Savory and light on its feet, thanks to its smoky minerality. Finishes energetic and very long. This outstanding New Zealand Pinot boasts uncanny richness and zero rough edges, finishing with noble tannins and slowly mounting perfume. Amazingly sexy already.
