Tasting notes
Clear classy pale lemon. An impressive depth of balanced fruit, very attractive. Easy-going, shows more at the front of the palate, attractive white fruit, and some length. The fruit shows considerable ripeness, perhaps trending towards the honeysuckle. DIAM30 closure.

Ample and demonstrative when I tasted it from barrel, Lamy's 2018 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru En Remilly has tightened up after bottling. Unwinding in the glass with notes of orange oil, nutmeg, pear and toasted bread, it's medium to full-bodied, bright and incisive, with a coiled and concentrated core, tangy acids and a long, saline finish. The only missing ingredient is time.
The 2018 Saint Aubin En Remilly ler Cru is adorned with an initially oily, almost petrolly nose that recedes to leave aromas of freshly cut lemon plus a subtle algae note. Well balanced with fine acidity, this En Remilly is very cohesive towards the finish with lingering lemon curd and orange rind. Very good length, this is a brilliant wine.
