Tasting notes
The nose on the 2018 Sauvignon Quarz is intense. It lifts from the glass with notes of lemon, tangerine and crisp green apple, complicated by white smoke and savory herbs. On the palate, silky textures glide across a tense frame of minerals and acids, while maintaining its ripe fruit persona with notes of apricot and sweet inner florals, creating a sensation that mixes elegance with power. The finish is remarkably long and a bit grassy, tugging at the senses with citrus-tinged fruits, leaving a hint of honeysuckle. I’m loving the contrasting nature of this wine.

Lots of grapefruit and peaches on the nose. The palate is full and tight with very lively acidity with bitter and burnt-lemon character at the finish. Stylish and flavorful. Drink now.
The 2018 Alto Adige Terlano Sauvignon Quarz hits it out of the ballpark. If you love Sauvignon Blanc, you will love the varietal purity and freshness of this A-list expression. This wine opens to honey, passion fruit, sweet almond, green papaya and garden greens. You get the intensity of Sauvignon Blanc without those pungent notes. And, you get the fleshiness and creaminess of the grape, only when made in the the most expert hands.
