Score 89/100 · Drink 2019-2022, Neal Martin, Jan 2019

The 2017 Marsannay Les Vaudenelles is matured in barrel and foudres with 20% new oak and 30% whole bunches. It has a well defined, crisp and slightly leafy bouquet. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannin, quite gentle in the mouth, and an herbaceous, open finish. Just a delight, though not long-term.
