2018 Chassagne Montrachet Blanchots Dessus

Another fine success is the 2018 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Blanchots-Dessus, a lovely wine that wafts from the glass with aromas of mandarin orange, white flowers, blanched almonds, mint and pastry cream. Medium to full-bodied, layered and tightly wound, concluding with a long and saline finish, it's one of the more reserved, introverted wines in the range, but its potential is evident.
