To be bottled end February. Quite intense nose with lots of ripe fruit and a fine, vegetal top note. Substantial palate impact. A really good emissary of the vintage. Worth waiting for? GV (JR)

The 2014 Puligny Montrachet les Charmes has better definition and energy on the nose vis-à-vis the village cru, a little more animation and chutzpah. The palate is clean and fresh on the entry with crisp Granny Smith apple and citrus peel, not persistent in the mouth but with appreciable focus and delineation. Lively and generous, if not at the same level as Chavy's other premier cru Pulignys.
