2018 Chablis Valmur

The 2018 Chablis Valmur Grand Cru is a big, potent wine. Apricot, white flowers, mint and white pepper give the Valmur bright aromatics to complement its rich, dense fruit. A wine of textural richness and drive, the Valmur is going to need a number of years to come into its own, but it is quite promising, even if some rough contours remain at this stage. The Valmur is made from purchased fruit. Sadly, there is just one 600-liter tonneau of this wine.
