2018 Meursault Les Perrieres

The 2018 Meursault Perrières 1er Cru has a tightly wound bouquet that shows good intensity, although I would like more of the DNA of the vineyard to come through –more stoniness, please! The palate is well balanced with hints of tangerine and grapefruit on the entry and moderate depth, although again, it needs more complexity toward the finish. Let’s see how this pans out in bottle.
