Intense and perfumed, the 2018 Marsannay Clos de Jeu bursts with aromas of wild blueberries, blackberries, rose petals, blood orange, violets and cinnamon. Vinified with entirely whole clusters, it's medium to full-bodied, deep and concentrated, with powdery tannins, lively acids and a long, sapid finish.
Nice concentration of blackberry, with some dried herb and spice complexity. Quite firm tannins that will reward some cellar time. Good length, fruity finish. The trade price indicates this could be QGV . (TJ)
